Robert Lee Brewer writes that "The wordy 30 is a fun little poetic game I conceived that's inspired by the popular game Wordle. Here are the guidelines:
- six lines
- one five-letter word per line
It's not mandatory that the work rhymes."
Here are my two submissions:
"ARTFUL BATIKS"
Fussy
batik,
scrap
block
Quilt -
comfy!
"WOOL COAT BUTTONS"
Shank
hides
holes
under
brass
cover.
It was a fun exercise that I found easier to jot down six-letter words than the five posed in the challenge.
Later this week I look forward to unpacking boxes of books, fabric, notions and accessories, buttons and more buttons to get things organized. By next weekend, I hope to resume work on my Button Project.
Until then, I wish you artistic inspiration for upcoming projects and challenge you with the Wordy 30. I chose quilts and buttons to help keep me on track here in the new year. You may branch out and choose another topic that you are passionate about. Thank you for sharing if you take the challenge.
