The collection of beach themed paintings at The Art & Soul Shop online store are whimsical and colorful. Each original art piece includes several hidden messages in the work - many are words from hymnals, books, poems, etc. Often they are prayers of praise or reminders of God's work in Alli Rogosich's life.
As I was searching for inspiration for my next quilting project, the Beach Art reminded me of the Dresden Plate quilt pattern, but with a modern shape and vibe. This piece is "A New Day" - in the lower right corner of the orb we find the words: "in My Soul . . . and so a new day begins."
This creative piece is "Morning Praise". Stamped on the piece is the following Scripture verse: "Where morning dawns and evening fades, You call forth songs of praise." Psalm 65:8
These two bold sunshines, with their Dresden Plate feel, have provided inspiration for some piecing of fabric in my stash.
I encourage you to check out The Art & Soul Shop online art studio, where you will find Joy, Encouragement, Fun and Freedom in the artwork and lots of Color, too!
This weekend's post would not be complete without a salute to the 244th Birthday of the United States of America. We shelter at home with subdued celebrations this year; without the parades, barbecue gatherings or firework displays. This Red, White & Blue Beach Hut painting of Lynette Amelie Seaside Art complements our Beach Art themed post. Lynette Amelie lives in Sandgate, Kent, right by the sea where she is constantly inspired by her surroundings and the ever changing seas and skies. Specializing in seaside art, she is well known for her paintings of beach huts, lighthouses, fishing boats and seaside scenes.
