It was wishful thinking on my part that the 80% chance of rain predicted this afternoon would actually arrive. I remained hopeful because our Golden State really needs it. The cute Rainy Day print for bedding and gift wrap (shown below), was created by Tina Cash Wash, an illustrator and designer creating fun, colorful, designs and patterns.

And, these words of inspiration for your next project, from Owl's Nest Quilters in Grand Junction, CO:
Consider memorializing your loved one in a quilt. Create a t-shirt quilt, a crazy quilt, a patchwork quilt, a message quilt, or a portrait quilt to name just a few ideas. Quilting is both healing and telling. Quilt your message.
I planned a brisk walk before the rains arrived. There are so many snippets of inspiration-gathering as I stop to visit several horses and "Gabby" the donkey; see the patchwork of harvested vineyards (with rows & rows of vines; each block running in a different direction); rolling hills with a palm tree by a barn in the distance; and a favorite gnarly face in an old olive tree.
Yes, with a strong wind and dark skies, the rain arrived! Here's wishing you wonderful inspired-filled moments.
