I received the folded fabric ornaments last Christmas; they've been carefully stored for eleven months. This month they graced our tiny first tree in our re-built house. The colorful star was hung near the pink sewing machine ornament. This could be the inspiration for next year's tabletop themed tree with hand crafted embellishments.
The folded cloth Scandinavian Star Ornaments are based on a variation of the three-dimensional Froebel (German paper star) and Danish stars that were popular in Europe in the 1800s.

If you have a tree trimmed with quilted, crochet or paper decorations, I'd love to know what patterns you've used. Many thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you for stopping by.
