When I think back on my creative journey this year, and what I'm grateful for, several things ring clear (maybe the same for you, too). Without the friendly, encouraging, and thoughtful connections with others, I would not be able to do everything that is on my overflowing platter.

It is the various groups that I am fortunate to connect with that provide immense satisfaction and support. Each community provides a powerful alignment with our passions, helping to create a peaceful purpose:

Family, Friends & Colleagues - the love, friendship and encouragement that we share has been a path of positivity. It's been an honor to be connected to so many - I look forward to relationships growing stronger in the coming year.

Creatives: Quilters, Artists, Illustrators & Surface Pattern Designers - collaborating with other creatives is rewarding. Teaching a new technique, learning a new skill, being part of a supportive study group has empowered us all. A special thank you to all for generously sharing information that empowers other creatives.

Writers, Editors, Publishers, Guilds - these industry professionals have given unbiased guidance to help identify imposter syndrome and self-doubt for emerging writers. It is my goal to become more active in this supportive community.
