As I put the finishing touches of french knots around the cardinal's notes, I thank one of you for requesting that I not "cover up the bird's song".
Orange sun rays have been added around the checkered button. You can see that I am beginning to add more french knots and satin stitches in the blank areas.
And, there is even more layering of buttons in each cluster:
