This lovely, five-inch crystal bowl provides May's inspiration for my Main Street Quilts: OMG project. I was so surprised when a dear friend sent two bowls home with me after a recent visit.
The first photo is taken looking directly into the bowl. Do you see this as an intricate mini quilt pattern like I do?
The next photo details the bottom of the bowl. This angle helps me see fabric patterns that can be used.
Fabrics, color palate - all have yet to be determined. This will really be a fun challenge for me.
Now it is your turn to link up - what is your goal for May?
(A goal could be to finish a quilt but it could also be to attach a binding. Whatever it takes to help you move forward and make progress on your projects! And as long as the project involves a needle and/or fabric, you can link up!)
What unusual item have you used as a template for a quilt pattern?
