My submission to February's 'One Monthly Goal' Finish Party is this diamond patterned quilt top that goes with the Je t'aime Paris - Pillow project. The OMG challenge is helping to keep me focused on completing some UFOs - has it been helpful to you?

I chose fabric for the triangles from key words in my friend's 'We're in Paris' blog post - wine cellar, tea, flowers, etc. The polka-dot fabric matches elements from the pillow design.

About a quarter of the quilt top was pinned and the goal was to piece the top and add the borders. Each section was ironed, then spread out and assembled.

My favorite fabric is the red border print - Laurel Burch "Jungle Songs" for CLOTHWORKS.

It has been added to the back, along with the black Patt# 6123 Blank Quilting border print...

and is now ready to be taken to the quilter so that I can focus on my next project.
