TERRAZZ-OH!

Walking hand-in-hand with my husband is often an adventure. Our vacation time in northern Italy was magical. My favorite finds were the interior courtyards, especially those with terrazzo tile. Look up and you will see the fancy, hanging light fixtures. Look through the ornate wrought iron gates and you may catch a glimpse of a Vespa, several small trees, perhaps even an unexpected fountain. Look down and you will see the blue-grey, pink, black, umber, and white colors of the terrazzo tile. The mosaic-like footpaths, walkways, museum and cathedral flooring are oh, so artfully stunning and timeless.
